Today, I created a word cloud with Tagxedo. This is my first time with creating a word cloud. First off, the finished project looks really cool and will catch the attention of anyone. I create done that dealt concentrated on what a teacher is. You will see throughout my word cloud words like example, creative, inspiring, and motivator. These are words that exemplify a teacher. Creating a word cloud can be easy and quick if you are working with a good website. I think word clouds would be a great thing to print out and enlarge to put around a classroom. This is a good attention grabber and can serve a useful purpose in classroom.

Today I worked with a website called Animoto. This website allows us to use text, audio, and pictures to make a video. Being the big baseball fan that I am, I did a video over the royals as I got acquainted with Animoto. For educational purposes though, this would be a great way to incorporate a topic in a lesson or introduce a topic in a lesson. This takes a minimal amount of time to create. This also could be used for students to make a project about their summer, for example. This is a great website for them to get acclimated to technology. Overall, I really think that this can be a useful website that I can incorporate in lessons as well as teach my students to use for things like a project.

I was able to have a football background. In my background, I was able to have six labels on my photo. Each label was a link to a different college football website. I used the college football theme just as I was getting used to it, but from here on I will try it on educationally topics. Educationally I see this used on students in middle to upper grades. I could use Thinglink in my lesson and use the labels for videos, texts, or links that relate to my lesson. Thinglink was easy and convenient to use. It takes a minimal amount of time to create something very advantageous.
Here's my thinglink post: http://www.thinglink.com/scene/575182572649185281 Today I worked with the website GoAnimate. In this website I was able to make a small 30 second video with dialogue in it. I made a small video with an elephant and a hippo, and the hippo meets the elephant after being fired. Further on, I will use this website for educational purposes. Especially with elementary classes, GoAnimate would be a great introduction to a lesson. It can work perfectly in grabbing the students attention to engage them in the lesson. ts. GoAnimate is a friendly website that allows you to go through simple steps to help complete your GoAnimate video. The dialogue is easy as you just type it in, and voice recordings can be used also. GoAnimate is a great website that was easy and quick. Overall, I believe GoAnimate can be a great asset for younger students.
Here's the link to my GoAnimate video: http://goanimate.com/videos/0vfEsxTmxXwI?utm_source=linkshare&utm_medium=linkshare&utm_campaign=usercontent For my personal thoughts, I thoroughly enjoyed creating an educational comic strip. I believe it adds a lot of value when teaching because it can grab the students attention pertaining the topic that day. I know when I was a student I never experienced a comic strip or an educational topic displayed digitally. It's just a neat way of teaching a topic rather that doing a worksheet or lecturing to your students. I have attached a the link to my comic strip at the bottom of this reflection as an example.
